Use of Skateboards, Scooters and Roller Blades on Campus Grounds

POLICY:

The use of skateboards, scooters, roller skates, or similar devices in an unsafe manner and/or trick riding is prohibited upon the grounds of California State University, Northridge, and the use of skateboards, scooters, roller skates or similar devices within the buildings of California State University, Northridge, is strictly prohibited except for authorized instructional purposes.

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this policy is to minimize the potential for pedestrian or user injury as a result of the use of skateboards, scooters, roller skates, and similar devices on campus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Department of Public Safety is responsible for code enforcement and enforcement of university regulations on campus.
