Charge/Mission:
The committee establishes strategy, policy, and guidelines for the University's presence on the University website and the University role-based portal pages. The committee is responsible for the Web information architecture, recommending taxonomy and publishing standards, and providing guidelines and standards for Web content management. The committee provides advice, guidance, and support to the Manager, University Web Communications. The committee works closely with the Technology Infrastructure and Services Committee regarding technical issues related to the Web, including Web content management technology, Web application standards, digital content management, and Web capacity planning. The chair, under the direction of the Vice President for University Advancement, will consult when appropriate with the Vice President for Information Technology.

Chaired by a designee from University Advancement with Vice President appointed positions representing each University division and the University Corporation, as well as the Chief of Staff from the President's Office, the ATI Executive Sponsor, a representative from the Library, and a representative from Intercollegiate Athletics. The committee reports to the Vice President for University Advancement.
