Contracting for Subsistance Expenses:
CONTRACT AGREEMENTS:
Group Leaders may make arrangements with restaurants, hotels, and lodging houses to provide subsistence for groups of employees when such arrangements are advantageous to California State University. The total payment for any such agreement shall not exceed the sum of the subsistence allowances otherwise claimable by the participating employees.
PAYMENT:
Vendors may receive payment from the Group Leader or by billing the California State University or campus on a regular, itemized invoice.
GROUP LEADER REIMBURSEMENT:
Group Leaders may claim reimbursement by submitting a vendor's invoice with a list of names of the employees whose expenses were paid.
GROUP MEMBER REIMBURSEMENT:
Group Members who have some portion of their subsistence paid by the Group Leader, may submit a claim fro the remainder of their actual and necessary subsistence expenses, based on the statewide rates.
