Some portion or all of your University Tuition and Fees may be waived by your participation in a University sanctioned program.
Please contact the departments or persons below to inquire about your eligibility.
STUDENTS ARE ALWAYS RESPONSIBLE
FOR BOOKS, LABS AND OPTIONAL PARKING FEES.
Student Accounting places waivers on student accounts upon procedural request from the following departments:
I. EMPLOYEE AND DEPENDENT WAIVERS
CSU State employees and their spouse, dependent child, or registered domestic partner may be eligible to attend classes
at a significantly reduced price. Electronic applications must be completed prior to the deadlines posted on the web site: http://www-admn.csun.edu/ohrs/development/fee_waiver.htm,

II. VETERAN DEPENDENT WAIVERS
Contact the division of Veteran Services of the State Department of Veteran Affairs for eligibility requirements. Submit
the Waiver Authorization letter to the campus Veterans Student Services Office, Bayramian Hall 150 and fee payment (if
applicable) by the deadline date. A Veteran dependent receipt will receive an authorization letter and will be responsible
for the cost of campus-based fees.

III. TA (TEACHING ASSOCIATE) WAIVERS
Various departments on campus issue TA waivers. Contact your Department Chair for information.
IV. INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE STUDENT WAIVERS
Once accepted to the Study Abroad program, students follow instructions for fee payment forwarded to them by the system-wide California State University Office of International Programs.

V. ALAN PATTEE SCHOLARSHIP WAIVERS
Surviving children and/or spouse of deceased Public Safety officers (including law enforcement, firefighters and those officers performing services under contract for a public agency), who were California residents and who were killed in the line of duty, are not charged State University Fees, but must pay the campus-based fees.
A student in an undergraduate program who is a surviving dependent of a person killed during the September 11, 2001 terrorist
attacks may qualify if the student meets the financial need requirements for the Cal Grant A Program and either the student
or the person killed was a California resident on September 11, 2001.
This program provides a reduction of registration fees for qualified high school students. Questions regarding application
