HOW DO I KNOW HOW MUCH I OWE AND WHEN IT IS DUE?
When you enroll in classes, your registration fees and due dates are calculated and posted to your student account.
To check your account, login to http://www-csun.edu/portal/ and navigate to: Services for Students > Charges and Payments > Student Account Information.
Registration related fee DUE DATES are calculated at the
time of registration. At that time, you chose the "agree" button to indicate that you had read the information
regarding your "Financial
Obligation", which is what you owe and when it is due. You did not pay your fees by the Due
Date and Time, so you were disenrolled (removed) from your classes.
Check the DISENROLLMENT web page for more information.
WHAT IS THE FORM 1098-T FOR?
At the end of each tax year, CSU Northridge generates a Form 1098-T for each student who was enrolled in graded courses
during that respective tax year AND whose total tuition and qualified expenses exceeded Scholarships,
Grants and Sponsorships.
Tuition for the year is calculated by the calendar date (not the term) the CHARGE is posted to the student account, NOT the date paid.
To view your Form 1098-T, login to the Portal and navigate to: Services for Students > Charges and Payments > 1098TPrint
Options. You may print out the form as often as needed.
Please see the TAX INFORMATION web page for more information.
