Sponsored Students

Some fees on student accounts may be sponsored (paid for) by organizations. Third Party Sponsors may be an employer, the military, Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, or foreign governments.

Scholarships and Grants are NOT sponsorships. If you have questions about a Scholarship or Grant, please contact the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office by email at: financial.aid@csun.edu or scholarships@csun.edu.

A Third Party Sponsorship is a contractual agreement with the University or prior arrangement/authorization with Student Accounting. Third Party Sponsors submit authorizations for tuition, campus fees (Lab fees, application fees and/or orientation fees), parking housing, and meal plans. Authorizations may pay some portion or all registration fees. We do not accept authorizations for ID cards or tests.

THE STUDENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PORTION OF THE FEES NOT COVERED BY THE SPONSOR.

Third Party sponsorship authorizations are submitted on letterhead by mail, email or fax. The authorization/voucher must be submitted prior to registration or prior to the payment due date as posted in the Schedule of Classes. Otherwise, the student could be disenrolled for non-payment.
