Crime Prevention for Campus Housing Residents

THEFT is a crime of opportunity. It is, by far, the most common crime in University Housing. Thefts are most often committed by persons you or your roommates allow into your residence.
BURGLERY is entering your residence with the intent to commit a crime. This is also a problem and can usually be prevented by taking simple precautions.
PERSONAL SAFETY is a large component of Crime prevention. The chances of physical attack or rape can be greatly reduced by taking similar precautions and by being alert to suspicious individuals.
