CARBON (CO2) SEQUESTRIAN
- Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the recognized greenhouse gas indicator demonstrating mankind's ongoing manipulations of our environment.
- Particularly as a result of our expanding need for, and use of energy, the CO2 levels in our environment continue to rise.
- The concerns of increasing levels of CO2 in our environment range from greater, better crop growth and more densely forested wildlands, to complete global devastation and the end of mankind.
- Regardless of your position on this topic, all will be expected to reduce or eliminate the emissions of CO2 into our environment.
- The discussion will present numerous CO2 capture or sequestrian methods that are being used now and some that may be prominent in our future.
- It will further detail the current actions that CSUN is taking to reduce it's CO2 effluent.
