LOCATION OF PPM FACILITIES

PPM's main offices are located at the south east corner of Etiwanda and Halsted. These offices house PPM's administrators, managers, clerical staff, Work Control Center, and CADD area. Next door resides Postal Services, Asset Management and Receiving & Shipping. The PPM office has a small amount of visitor parking available. Also at this location is the Corporation Yard, which houses PPM's Grounds, Lock, Carpentry, Paint, Plumbing, Masonry, Electrical, Automotive, and the Distribution Center.

Physical Plant Management helps plan, create, maintain and operate a physical environment that favors learning, teaching and research. To meet this goal, PPM has established certain standards and procedures. All changes to CSUN physical facilities must be performed by, or coordinated with Physical Plant Management. Departments may not contract work out without the written consent of PPM. All connections to utility systems, such as air, water, gas, electrical, sewer, and vacuum, must be made by PPM personnel or by contractors under PPM supervision.

Plans and specifications, as well as completed work, will be inspected by PPM to assure compliance with CSUN policies, building codes, and other statutory requirements. It is important for PPM to know the condition of CSUN facilities at all times. Physical Plant Management, must be advised of any planned alterations to structures or grounds areas.
