Automatic Resignation (AWOL)

An absence of five (5) consecutive workdays without securing authorized leave shall be considered an automatic resignation as of the last day worked. This applies to both voluntary and involuntary absences.

Departments should consult with Employee Relations at x 6566 prior to placing an employee on AWOL status.
