The fee waiver application deadline has passed for the 2005 fall semester. Submit your forms before October 5, 2005 for spring semester 2006. This will ensure that all forms are received on time. It is each employee's opportunity to review the website for all current deadlines and forms. Please inform people in your area that fall semester forms are due by late April and spring semester forms are due early October. If you plan to participate in the program, it is important to submit your forms early and to meet the deadline. This allows up to notify Admissions and Records, which will activate your enrollment. The College of Extended Learning does not fall under fee waiver and no discounts are available. Visit our website at http://www-admn.csun.edu/hrs/benefits/FEEWAIVER.html for all fee waiver details. We no longer send out reminder packets. It is each participant's responsibility to check the website and be aware of upcoming deadlines. If you have questions, call extension 3820. |

Hiring departments are encouraged to make job offers for both MPP and staff positions. If you choose to use this option, please inform the Office of Human Resources prior to the selection of a final candidate. Prior to extending the offer, you will need to consult with Human Resources about the starting salary. For staff positions, you also need to complete the Applicant Selection and Disposition form and submit it with the original application/resume to the employment representative prior to making the offer. Our goal is to be timely and professional. Please let your employment representative know how your unit wants to deal with the job offer process. More information about the selection process can be found in the Employment Guidelines, Section III, G located under the Compensation and Employment section of the Human Resources website at http://www-admn.csun.edu/hrs/comp/StateEmpGuidelines_07-04.doc. |
