| Duties: | |
Under the general direction of the Director of Institutional Research (IR), is responsible for creating and maintaining the multi-faceted Web structure needed to house the electronic inventory required for the university’s current WASC re-accreditation review. Major elements of the inventory will include CSUN policies, a range of summary data on students and faculty, and Web pages devoted to academic programs’ and other university assessment efforts. Responsible for creating an overarching Web structure that is both ADA-compliant and aesthetically appealing. Works with relevant staff in Undergraduate Studies to develop and maintain appropriate structures for accommodating academic programs’ assessment activities; works with IR staff to develop and update the data summaries relevant to WASC and other evolving university concerns; works with Library staff to assemble and organize WASC-relevant documents; and performs other duties as assigned. |

| Qualifications: | |
| Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in Computer Science or a related field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education. Equivalent to three years of full-time, progressively responsible experience developing Web sites housed on college or university servers. General programming and data management skills are required. Familiarity with dSpace and LiveText software is a plus. | |
| Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities: | |
Thorough knowledge of: html, sml, CSS, JavaScript, Web services, SQL, requirements analysis, and Section 508 requirements. Ability and specialized skills to: present data in tabular, pictorial, and graphic form; work independently; establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with a range of campus staff; assemble and succinctly summarize diverse information; and employ strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with the campus community both orally and in writing. |
