SALARY/TIMEBASE: $2080-4333.33 mo./full-time
GENERAL INFORMATION: Temporary - renewable, end date to be determined; Hours: 40 hr/wk, variable, Mon-Sat
Duties:

Under general supervision, responsible for providing group, family and/or individual Counseling to participant families; provides assessments of family needs; maintains appropriate, comprehensive, and professional records on each family; maintains positive working relationships with contractors and linkage service providers; knows which providers are appropriate to situations encountered in program and provides appropriate referrals.  Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator, participates in meetings to discuss and or evaluate client’s progress insuring that the family/individual is provided with the best possible change for positive outcomes.  Provides comprehensive, professional, and appropriate feedback in meetings.  Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Must be a graduate or currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree program in MFT, MSW, or related field. Candidate must have experience with foster care and/or adoption services.  Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.   
Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices, and trends of the foster care and/or adoption system fields.  Ability and specialized skills to: analyze complex situations accurately and determine effective courses of action; analyze and define problems, draw valid conclusions, and project consequences of various alternative courses of action; motivate others, lead discussions, and generate new ideas; speak effectively; assess, carry out, and/or delegate a variety of professionally complex assignments; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a variety of individuals and organizations; and relate well with persons of varying economic levels, cultures, ethnicity, and lifestyles.
