| Duties: | |
| Under the direction of Clinical Supervisor, is responsible for providing group, family and /or individual counseling to participant families; provides assessments of family or individual needs; maintains appropriate, comprehensive, and professional records as required by the Department of Children and Family Services and Family System Services; maintains positive working relationships with contractors and linkage service providers; and provides appropriate referrals. Participates in meetings to discuss and/or evaluate client’s progress insuring that the family/individual is provided with the best possible chance for positive outcomes; provides comprehensive, professional and appropriate feedback in meetings; makes child abuse reports; and other duties as assigned. | |
| Qualifications: | |
| Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in Psychology or related field. Must be a graduate of or currently enrolled in a Masters Degree program in MFT, MSW or related field or a graduate of or enrolled in a Ph.D or Psy.D program. The selected candidate must pass a fingerprint clearance. Wages and compensation commensurate with education/degree, license and applicable experience. | |
| Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities: | |
| Demonstrated working knowledge of group and individual counseling. Ability and specialized skills to: motivate others, lead discussions, and generate new ideas; speak effectively; write narrative reports; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a variety of individuals and organizations. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. | |
