| Duties: | |
Under general supervision, establishes contacts and develops relationships with employers throughout the greater Los Angeles area as part of the California State Department of Rehabilitation funded WorkAbility IV contract; develops and maintains a collaborative relationship with the Career Center; provides employment preparation services including job search, resume development, master application and cover letter coaching; develops and coordinates all aspects of the internship program within the WorkAbility IV project; develops and delivers career services workshops; collects data, writes required reports and provides evaluation feedback for program improvement and future program needs; and performs other duties as assigned. |

| Qualifications: | |
| Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in career counseling, social services, educational psychology, or other related field. Master’s degree preferred. Equivalent to two years of recent full-time work experience with career services and people with disabilities in a college or directly related program for job placement, rehabilitation, or program administration. | |
| Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities: | |
Knowledge of job skills, workplace accommodations, training theory, and methods for student progress assessment; practical and working knowledge of curriculum design and implementation including designing teaching aids and audio-visual materials. Ability and specialized skills to: advise students individually and in groups on complex student and job related matters; interact effectively with employers in the placement of students with disabilities; establish and maintain liaison and work with community agencies, government agencies, and professional organizations; and establish and maintain productive working relationships with students, staff, faculty, administrators, and employers. |
