| Duties: | |
| Under direct supervision,
sets up restaurant and catered events according to client specifications;
greets guests; takes food and beverage orders; serves food; checks on
guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals; collects money as necessary;
and clears and resets tables. Assists
with the set-up, clean up, and breakdown of parties; moves and lifts furniture
and catering equipment; assists in keeping the kitchen and service/dining
area clean and organized; helps stock food items; delivers food and beverage
items to rooms and events; assists in serving alcoholic beverages; and
performs other duties as assigned. |

| Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities: | |
| Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation, and
safety in the workplace. Ability
and specialized skills to: maintain a pleasant and friendly manner and
provide excellent customer service at all times; cooperate and work well
with co-workers; communicate well with others, both verbally and in writing;
maintain a clean and neat personal appearance at all times; follow and
enforce ABC regulations; read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations
at a level appropriate to the duties assigned; and establish and maintain
effective working relationships with others. |
