Storeroom Worker

| Duties: | |
| Under direct supervision, assists in receiving and putting away deliveries in the storeroom. Accepts orders from outlying foodservice units; pulls together the needed products from the storeroom; and delivers the order to the foodservice unit. Assists in keeping the storeroom clean and well organized; and assists in conducting the end-of-month storeroom inventory. May help stock food products in various foodservice units and perform other duties as assigned. | |

| Previous experience preferred. | |
| Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities: | |
| General knowledge of and ability to identify food and beverage products, and knowledge of the proper standards used in the storage of food and beverage products. Ability and specialized skills to: keep accurate records of requisitions and transfers; lift a maximum of 50 pounds; communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; and read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations at a level appropriate to the duties assigned. Valid California Driver's license may be required upon appointment. | |
